This website is a resource for lovers of classic rhythm & blues, giving information on many of the pioneering musicians of this style who played in the late 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. It includes bios, pictures, videos and links to other sites.

On this site, "R&B" is used in the broadest sense of music that owed much to jazz, gospel and blues, and featured on the R&B charts in the 1950s and 1960s. It includes classic blues, rhythm & blues, soul, funk, Rock & Roll and even a few jazz musicians.
